Enjoy this sweet bite-sized treat made with pecans!

Ingredients

  • Crust
  • 1 stick real butter

  • 1 3oz pkg cream cheese

  • 1 cup all purpose flour, sifted

  • Filling
  • 1 cup finely chopped pecans

  • 3/4 cup brown sugar

  • 1 tbsp butter, melted

  • 1 egg

  • few drops vanilla extract

  • Garnish
  • powder sugar

Directions

  • Crust
  • Cream butter and cheese.
  • Add flour and mix well.
  • Divide dough into 24 pieces.
  • In a mini cupcake tin, press dough into the tin and push up until it makes a crust just over the top.
  • Filling
  • Finely dice the pecans, I use a food processor and pulse until finely diced.
  • Mix ingredients together.
  • Spoon filling 3/4th full into crusts without over filling.
  • Bake
  • Pre heat oven to 350Β°f.
  • Bake for 20-25 minutes.
  • After baking, quickly remove from tin onto a cooling rack.
  • Dust with powder sugar
  • Enjoy!
