Tomato Basil Shrimp Skewers

Ingredients
1/3 cup olive oil
1/4 cup tomato sauce
2 tbsp fresh basil, minced
2 tbsp red wine vinegar
3 cloves garlic, minced
1/2 tsp salt
1/4 tsp cayenne pepper
2 lbs uncooked jumbo shrimp, peeled and deveined
wooden skewers, soaked for at least 30 minutes
Directions
- In a large resealable plastic bag, combine the first 7 ingredients.
- Add shrimp into the bag.
- Seal bag and turn to coat.
- Refrigerate for 30 minutes to 1 hour.
- Drain and discard marinade.
- Thread shrimp onto soaked wooden skewers.
- Lightly oil grill grate.
- Grill over medium heat for 2-3 minutes per side until shrimp turn pink, turning once.
