This is a tasty, quick to fix appetizer!

Ingredients

  • 16 oz sour cream

  • 1 packet / 1 oz onion soup mix

  • 1/2 cup Mexican style finely shredded four cheese blend

  • 6 slices cooked Applewood bacon, crumbled and divided

  • 1 chipotle pepper in adobo sauce, finely chopped (with 1 tsp. sauce)

  • 1/2 tsp smoked paprika

  • 2 green onions, sliced

  • tortilla chips (for serving)

Directions

  • Mix sour cream and soup mix in medium-sized bowl until blended.
  • Add cheese blend, 2/3 of the bacon, peppers, adobo sauce, and paprika.
  • Refrigerate for at least 1 hour.
  • Top with the remaining bacon and onion.
  • Serve with tortilla chips, enjoy!

Notes

  • For additional heat and flavor you can add more adobo sauce to the dip. Prepared as the recipe states above, the taste and heat level is very mild, even appropriate for kids.
