Roasted Corn on the Cob with Orange Basil Butter

Ingredients
- Corn
6 ears of corn, husked and silk removed
softened butter
freshly ground black pepper
- Orange Basil Butter
1/2 cup salted butter, brought to room temperature
1 tsp orange zest
3 tsp chopped fresh basil
1 pinch of kosher salt
1 pinch of freshly ground black pepper
Directions
- Preheat oven to 400°f.
- Line a rimmed baking sheet with foil, if you have a baking rack place it on top of foil on baking sheet.
- Rub softened butter over each ear of corn and sprinkle with salt and black pepper.
- Line ears of corn up on prepared baking sheet, and bake for 40 minutes turning half way through.
- After 40 minutes, turn oven to broil and broil corn for 10 minutes for extra color and char.
- Watch corn closely and turn it often.
- Remove from oven when the corn looks charred and has the color you desire.
- While corn is baking, add all orange basil butter ingredients to a small mixing bowl and combine well.
- When corn is finished roasting, slather them with the flavored butter. Enjoy!
