This surprising combination of flavors is a little sweet, a little smoky, and a little spicy. It enhances the natural sweetness of the corn without overpowering it.

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup butter, softened

  • 2 tbsp honey

  • 1 tbsp Huy Fong Sriracha Hot Chili Sauce 

  • 1 tsp smoked paprika

  • 1/2 tsp Kosher salt

  • 6 large ears sweet corn, husked

  • 1/2 cup water

  • additional smoked paprika

Directions

  • Mix together first 5 ingredients.
  • Place each ear of corn on a large piece of heavy-duty aluminum foil.
  • Divide butter mixture evenly and spread mixture all over each ear of corn.
  • Wrap foil around corn, sealing tightly, place in a 6-quart slow cooker.
  • Add water, cook, covered on low for 4-1/2 hours, then you can switch to warm setting until serving.
  • If desired, sprinkle corn with additional paprika before serving.
