Ingredients
4-5 lbs boneless, skinless chicken breasts (6-8 oz. each)
1 cup packed brown sugar
3/4 cup Heinz Organic Tomato Ketchup
1/3 cup chicken broth
2-1/2 tsp fresh ginger root, grated
1-1/2 tsp garlic, minced
1 tsp Huy Fong Sriracha
1/2 tsp Liquid Smoke
Directions
- In a bowl, combine all the ingredients except for the chicken.
- Reserve 1-1/3 cups of the marinade for basting, cover and refrigerate.
- Divide remaining marinade between two large resealable gallon-sized freezer bags.
- Add half of the chicken breasts to each bag, seal and turn to coat.
- Refrigerate overnight (up to 12 hours).
- Drain and discard marinade from chicken.
- Lightly coat the grill rack with non-stick cooking spray.
- Grill the chicken covered over medium heat for 6 minutes on each side.
- Turn heat to low and baste the chicken with reserved marinade, turning frequently, for 5 minutes or until chicken is no longer pink.
- Serve and enjoy!
