Crispy Balsamic Baked Chicken Breasts

Ingredients
1 cup Italian seasoned dry breadcrumbs
1/2 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
1-1/2 tsp dry parsley flakes
1-1/2 tsp garlic powder
3/4 tsp garlic salt
3/4 tsp freshly ground black pepper
2 tbsp balsamic vinegar
1 egg
6 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
Directions
- Preheat oven to 400°f.
 - Line a large baking sheet with foil and place a wire baking rack on the sheet.
 - Spray with non-stick spray.
 - In a large bowl combine breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, parsley, garlic powder, garlic salt, and pepper.
 - In another large bowl, whisk together the vinegar and egg.
 - Dip chicken in vinegar mixture, and then in breadcrumb mixture.
 - Place on wire baking rack.
 - If there is any vinegar mixture left, drizzle it evenly on top of the chicken.
 - Bake at 400°f for 40 minutes or until juices run clear.
 - Serve and enjoy!
 
Notes
- In the picture above, I used chicken tenderloins instead of breasts and doubled the breadcrumb mixture and the vinegar mixture.
 - This recipe goes great with “Angel Pasta with Italian Dressing and Fresh Tomatoes”.
