Amish Stew

Stovetop Amish Beef Stew

Tender chunks of beef, carrots, and potatoes are simmered in a delicious gravy resulting in a comforting stew that is based on a recipe from an old Amish cookbook. I made a few tweaks and this is my updated version.

Homestyle Chili

Homestyle Chili

This is my favorite traditional style chili. It’s great when eating a big bowl of it topped with cheddar cheese or using as a topping for chili dogs, chili fries, chili-cheese nachos, etc. This recipe makes a big batch so I always freeze some for later!

Cranberry Porkchops

Crockpot Cranberry Pork Chops

These pork chops are smothered in a sweet and tangy cranberry sauce. They are really easy to make and are a great way to use up leftover canned cranberries from a holiday dinner. These go great with stuffing or mashed potatoes and green beans!
